Olivia Beach is our favorite place to stay in Lincoln City

For us, an unobstructed ocean view is what a trip to the Oregon Coast is all about, and this charming home delivers. Clean, well decorated, in new condition and with comfortable furnishings, this home will be a top choice on our next visit. LOCATION: Olivia Beach is our favorite place to stay in Lincoln City. This home is at the top (northeast corner) of the development, with homes on all sides. There are three homes that overlook the deck and hot tub of this home. We never saw or heard anyone next door so the proximity did not interfere with our enjoyment. There is a new playground just around the corner. It is a modest walk to the community pool and larger playground and a bit further to beach access. Beach access with free public parking is a short drive away, at the southwest corner of the development. LAYOUT: This is an excellent house for a family. All three bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. The bedroom with the double-sized bunk bed also has a trundle and would easily sleep six kids. The family room on the ground floor gives the kids their own space to relax and have fun. CONDITION/AMENITIES: This home is new and exceptionally clean. Even those often overlooked things like bathroom vents were clean. The kitchen is well stocked and well organized, much better than many kitchens in other vacation homes. The only things we missed were a tea pot and a coffee grinder, which we hesitate to mention because it is such an exceptional home otherwise. We called to ask if there was a grinder available to borrow, and the manager kindly sent over a generous supply of private roast ground coffee that is surprisingly good. Next time we will bring our own grinder, which is not a big deal but good to know ahead of time. There are hair dryers in the bathrooms and a good stock of towels. We enjoyed the flat screen TVs, blue tooth speakers, DVDs and board games.
